White Matter Brain Injury in Premature Infants

With a Phase 1 NIH grant, we are studying a novel therapeutic for the prevention and treatment of Periventricular White Matter Injury (PWMI) in premature infants. The proposed Phase II objectives will involve pre-clinical, proof-of-concept testing of this molecule in models of PWMI. Based on our preliminary data, we are optimistic that our Phase II studies will lead to the generation of data that will allow us to plan and initiate clinical trials
